Floral Longline Kimono

Summer is officially here and it’s definitely heating up in L.A. which means its cutoffs and crop top season. Even with the heatwaves, I still like to get pieces that are easy to layer and lightweight over a showy outfit like this one. I’ve been looking for the perfect kimono for a little while and finally came across this one from River Island. I had never shopped on the site before but heard about it from other bloggers but as soon as I saw this kimono I got major Gucci vibes and had to get it. Unfortunately, it’s sold out now but I’ve linked other cute kimonos above. I was nervous about the quality and fit upon ordering but am so happy to have found this new site and I know I’ll be wearing this piece for all sorts of occasions.

I wanted to keep the rest of this outfit fairly simple with a strappy bralette and these thrifted Levi’s shorts. I actually never thrift shop, mostly because I never have the patience to sift through countless pieces of unorganized clothing. A friend of mine was in town for the weekend and insisted on checking out the local Crossroads and I’m honestly glad we did. I scored these shorts for just $16! If you have any any tips or tricks on thrift shopping, let me know in the comments below. It’s been a hectic month with back to back weekends of activities but I’m excited to share some more upcoming travels and outfits. Follow me on Instagram to stay up to date with the latest.
